  • Both 3M Ceramic IR and 3M Crystalline provide excellent heat rejection, UV protection, and durability, but they use different technologies to achieve these results:

    • 3M Ceramic IR:
Ceramic IR uses advanced ceramic technology that blocks up to 60% of infrared heat. It offers great protection from heat while maintaining good visibility, and it’s ideal for those who want reliable performance at a more budget-friendly price point. It provides a darker tint compared to Crystalline, but without interfering with electronics like GPS or Wi-Fi.

    • 3M Crystalline:
Crystalline technology uses a multi-layered optical film to block up to 97% of infrared heat, offering superior heat rejection and UV protection (99.9%).
